Passionate about Open Network technology, founder of the (Open Network Digital Transformation) ONDT Company at Sharjah Research Technology and Innovation Park in UAE. Ahmed received his MS (2007) and Ph.D. (2017) degrees in Computer Science and Information Technology from the University of Malaya (UM), Malaysia. He has been working with ONOS since 2015, during his Ph.D., Ahmed published many WoS- ISI papers with high impact factor and participated in several local and international conferences. Besides, He taught a number of the SDN courses under the umbrella of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU). In, addition, He obtained the Best presenter in UM Symposium 2014, annual FSKTM competition, the topic titled (Network Virtualization Model Using OpenFlow). Besides, Ahmed received many network professional certificates such as CCNA, CCNP, and SDN associate certificate (OCAS-110). His research interests include SDN, NFV, 5G, mobile cloud computing, IoT, Machine Learning, and network security.
