Rony received his Bachelor in Electrical and Telecommunications Engineering from INATEL – Instituto Nacional de Telecomunicações, in 1995, an Executive MBA from Fundação Getúlio Vargas, FGV-RJ in 2000, and a post-graduate course in Digital Transformation from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2020.
For more than 2 decades he has been working with Fixed and Mobile Carriers and Services Providers specially in Latin America and Brazil helping Telcos to modernize and innovate their networks with leading edge solutions from companies such as DZS, Ericsson, Samsung, Italtel, MobileUm, and others.
He is an ONF Ambassador in Brazil and his areas of interest include Optical Networks, Telco Cloud, 5G/LTE and Mobile Transport Networks.
