Scott Swail is responsible for product and sales strategy at Ciena – Global Cloud Networking group where he leads the strategy and execution for open, disaggregated networks including open API control and management. Since 2001, Scott has led sales, product, and market development of optical transport and transmission systems and subsystems, and delivered some of the first disaggregated optical network elements to market. Scott has 25 years of datacom and telecom industry experience from IP to optical networking in a variety of sales, marketing and engineering leadership roles. Scott holds an MBA from San Francisco State University.
