Radisys – RLT-1600X

The Radisys RLT-1600X Any-PON (GPON or XGS-PON) White box OLT offers 16 Small Form-factor Pluggable (SFP+) Any-PON interfaces in 1RU height and is based on ONF’s VOLTHA/SEBA reference architecture.  An Any-PON interface means that each of these ports can support either a GPON SFP or an XGS-PON SFP+.  The OLT uses Aspen, the latest PON Media Access Control (MAC) Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) from Broadcom and the Qumran AX0 with 300Gbps full-duplex switching capacity.  The Network-to-Network Interfaces (NNIs) are 2 QSFP28 ports (100Gb/40Gb) and 4 SFP28 ports (10Gb/25Gb).  All ports are front-facing and easily accessible.  The RLT-1600X can operate in temperatures ranging from -40⁰C to +65⁰C and has right-to-left airflow.  The side-to-side airflow allows the RLT-1600X to be mounted in both vertical and horizontal orientations. The RLT-1600X supports redundant power and a hot-swappable fan tray. It tolerates a single fan failure across the entire temperature range.
