NEC ProgrammableFlow® Network Controller PF 6800
NEC’s award-winning OpenFlow™-based Controller, the ProgrammableFlow PF6800, was the first commercially available controller on the market, introduced at Interop in May of 2011 and delivering in production today secure, virtualized, multi-tenant networks. Policy based, physical topology independent, the PF6800 provides automatic and adaptive routing with multi-path and congestion control. An integrated and centralized GUI enables drag and drop network design, and end-to-end visualization of all network flows. Other key features introduced in 2012 include end-to-end flow-based QoS with end-point mobility, and most recently OpenStack integration and the new NEC SDN Application Center, leveraging RESTful APIs with partners to deliver innovative, integrated network services.
