The Open Networking Foundation (ONF) is dedicated to promoting the adoption of open Software-Defined Networking (SDN), and to building an ecosystem of like-minded members and partners to accelerate innovation in this space.
ONF offers a reduced fee category of membership for startups to become involved in this effort and participate in the SDN movement. Membership fees for startup organizations are reduced from $30,000 per year to $1,000 per year without any change in membership privileges.
To qualify for the ONF startup membership category, an organization must be within two years of its incorporation. At the end of two years, the membership will convert to the Adopter level of membership and annual dues of $30,000 will apply.
