Xiaolin Andy Li is an associate professor in Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of Florida. His research interests include Cloud Computing, HPC, Big Data, Software-Defined Ecosystems, Future Internet, Mobile Social Networks, Wireless Sensor Networks, and Security & Privacy. He is directing the Scalable Software Systems Laboratory (S3Lab). His team has been building the GatorCloud, a holistic software-defined ecosystem, including key SDN components (GatorVisor, Golfer controller, and GolfStore). He is in the executive committee of IEEE Technical Committee of Scalable Computing (TCSC) and a coordinator for the technical area of BigData and MapReduce. He received a PhD in Computer Engineering from Rutgers University. He is a recipient of the National Science Foundation CAREER Award in 2010 and the inaugural Internet2 Innovative Application Award in 2013.
