H. Kam LAM has been active in many standards development organizations, including ITU-T, TM Forum, ATIS, and IETF. He is the editor and co-editors of many standards specifications in the areas of network management architecture, FCAPS functions, and information models. In addition to his current ONF roles, he has been the Rapporteur of Q14 of ITU-T Study Group 15 since 1998.
Kam has been a CMTS at Lucent/Alcatel-Lucent/Nokia. He has a Ph.D. degree in Statistics, and was a tenured faculty member from 1978 – 1986 and a MTS and then Principal Engineer at Bellcore from 1986 – 1997.
