testing-interoperabilityThe Testing and Interoperability working group seeks to accelerate the development and adoption of the OpenFlow® Standard. The group will work toward this goal by ensuring standardized development through testing and certification, fostering interoperability among vendor implementations, and providing an industry-recognized certification for ONF compliance.

  • Launched the OpenFlow® conformance-testing program
  • Accredited 4 conformance-testing labs
  • Certified the first OpenFlow-compliant product
  • Created, conducted a competition for the first OpenFlow® driver and selected a winner
  • Conducted the Spring & Fall PlugFests

Goals for 2014

  • Plan and conduct the Spring & Fall PlugFests
  • Define a base conformace test for OpenFlow® 1.3
  • Release benchmarking documents including Flow Table capacity and Forwarding performance
