Kevin Shatzkamer is currently Vice President, Service Provider Strategy and Solutions at Dell Technologies with responsibility for strategy and architectural evolution of the intersection points of network infrastructure technologies, cloud and virtualization platforms, and software programmability. Mr. Shatzkamer’s responsibility in these areas encompasses industry trend analysis, business strategy, and technical architecture and infrastructure evolution.

Mr. Shatzkamer’s ecosystem-wide, experience-centric approach to working with customers allows for the identification and exploitation of synergies between disparate organizations to derive new technology / business models for the mobile industry.

Mr. Shatzkamer joined Dell Technologies in 2016 after 2 years at Brocade, where he was CTO for Mobile Networks, and 15 years at Cisco, where he served as Distinguished Systems Engineer for the US Service Provider market, working closely with mobile carriers, digital media providers, CDN providers, and cloud providers to deliver mobile solutions to customers.

Mr. Shatzkamer holds 50+ patents related to all areas of work. Mr. Shatzkamer holds a Bachelors of Science (University of Florida), a Masters of Business Administration (Indiana University), and a Masters of System Design and Management (Massachusetts Institute of Technology).

Mr. Shatzkamer is a regular speaker at industry forums and has published two books discussing the architectures and technologies shaping the future of the Mobile Internet, from RAN to services. Mr. Shatzkamer is also active on a number of Advisory Boards.
